New feature - Rate a page

After receiving feedback and input from peers, I've decided to implement a rating feature for the indexed pages.

For now, the ratings are 1-5 stars. Keep it simple to start. After enough data has been captured, there may exist the opportunity to use them in the random generator algorithm. These ratings could serve as a weighing mechanism ensuring the more popular pages get more visibility.

Market ... promote ... and more

I've been spending my time tidying up the site and continuing the promotion of it. I feel this is an outstanding affordable option for webmasters everywhere.

Right now, I am in the process of marketing the site and distributing information to the masses. These efforts are in effect laying the framework for a long standing high ranking site within as many search engines as possible. The more friendly it is in search, the more hits it shall receive, and we all know what more hits equals ... More traffic for everyone!

More to come ...

As always, best wishes to all.

It's for real

Over the past few days I have been promoting the site to friends and family. This past weekend I came across a prospective advertiser. I sincerely explained the site, and my intentions to him. He was full enthralled and agreed with my philosophy.

The first official transaction has been completed. The site now has it's first web page within the index in addition to it's own promotional pages.

I hope this trend continues. I can't wait to see what lay around the corner.

Until next time ...

Cheers!

Welcome to the official soninamillion.com blog

In order to provide a open communication mechanism between the site's visitors and me, I've decided to include and launch a blog for soninamillion.com.

I will be using this blog to address concerns, answer commonly asked questions, and to provide updates to site visitors. If you'd like to read more about the site, please visit the About and FAQ.

This site was conjured up one sleepless night while debating financial alternatives for my family. I was looking for a way to provide real value to customers as well as financial incentive for me. If you've read the about, you'll know this site is to address my son's college education expenses. Hence the name on this site: soninamillion.com.

It seemed fitting to officially launch soninamillion.com today, being that it's Mother's Day. In the upcoming weeks I will be working my butt off to promote and get this site into the public's eye. I hope it appeals to aadvertisers, as I believe this site offers something unique, cost-effective and long-term.

Best of wishes to all!
